As a designer, I\u2019m constantly looking for inspiration for my new collections. I love looking at what comes down the runways at fashion week but I also love drawing inspiration from street style. From fabrics and silhouettes, to unique embroidery and beading, fashion is only limited by one\u2019s imagination and wedding dresses are no exception. This season, I was really inspired to create a wedding dresses that would appeal to the bride who wanted to step out of the typical.<\/p>\n

This season, I tried to incorporate unique necklines in all my dresses. While still staying true to the classics like sweetheart and illusion necklines, I\u2019ve added elements of design that feel couture in nature to each dress that make even the most traditional sweetheart neckline modern. In my collection, you\u2019ll find everything from athleisure-inspired halter necklines and architecturally beaded straps, to off-the-shoulder lace and ornate floating straps – each adding a luxurious touch. I pulled together a few of my favorite gowns from the new collection<\/a> to show you exactly why I\u2019m so excited about wedding dresses with unique necklines.<\/p>\n

\nStyle 874<\/a><\/p>\n

Inspired by the very classic all lace wedding dress, this boho dream takes lace to new levels! The corded lace halter neckline is slightly sheer, revealing a deep sweetheart bodice underneath that is so very chic. The layered lace creates a soft, feminine texture but the modern neckline had a subtle nod to athleisure.<\/p>\n

\nStyle 875<\/a><\/p>\n

One of the most distinctive wedding dresses in this collection, comes with a richly beaded bodice, which is only complimented by the illusion tulle neckline adorned with the same luxe beadwork. Contrasting shapes and patterns creates a neckline with shimmery movement and unparalleled style.<\/p>\n

\nStyle 901<\/a><\/p>\n

As sweet as it is stunning, this A-line wedding dress boasts a lace off-the-shoulder neckline like none other. The pearl and bugle beading throughout the lace creates unexpected drama near the neckline, while the sweetheart bodice is flattering and traditional. What makes this neckline unique is softly textured laser-cut lace straps that fall gently off the bride\u2019s shouldered, giving off a sophisticated boho feeling.<\/p>\n

\nStyle 936<\/a><\/p>\n

Boho lace for the win! There\u2019s nothing I love more than taking traditional lace and flipping it on its head adding an injection of boho vibes. This updated fit-and-flare wedding dress features one of the most unique necklines in the collection. Cameo lace is placed over a sheer bodice, which creates a Rococo-inspired embellishment that I know trendy brides will fall in love with! The modern halter neckline features cutouts and sheers for an extra hint of sexy.<\/p>\n

\nCarina Corset<\/a><\/p>\n

The new Carina Corset from my Martina Liana separates collection is one for the books! The ornate straps and deep-V neckline come together to create a richly beaded corset that fills the imagination with romance! The straps have an almost scroll-like effect in the way the design gently lays on the shoulders. You can pair the Carina Corset with any of the skirts from the Martina Liana separates collection for a look that is as unique as you are!<\/p>\n

And there you have it! Unique necklines are such a fun feature to any wedding dress but these dresses really take their cue from them.
