Krissy and Kyle just knew it was meant to be. Their love story began with the most endearing, adventurous proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Proposal<\/b><\/p>\n

It all started on Krissy\u2019s birthday weekend. \u201cWe were on a road trip to Louisville, Kentucky to hit the Bourbon Trail for what I thought was a birthday trip,\u201d she said. \u201cRight before we left for our hotel for breakfast, we stopped to hit a few spots on the BourbonTraill. Kyle got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dress<\/b><\/p>\n

Finding the gown was just as surprising as the proposal! \u201cI wanted my look to be unique and totally me,\u201d Krissy said. \u201cI loved <\/span>A-line<\/span><\/a> and romantic looks, as well as an open back, so those were the key features I was really looking for.\u201d Krissy, her mom and sister went to a few different bridal shops. She thought she had found the one and was about to cancel her last <\/span>dress shop visit<\/span><\/a>, but something held her back. \u201cThank god I didn\u2019t! As soon as I tried on my <\/span>Essense of Australia<\/span><\/a> dress, before I even stepped out to show my mom and sister, I told my stylist \u2018I don\u2019t care what they say, this is my dress!\u2019 It was so beautiful and so me, I couldn\u2019t believe how perfect it was!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Krissy\u2019s Pick: <\/span>D2126<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Style D2126<\/span><\/a> checked all of Krissy\u2019s bridal boxes! <\/span>This <\/span>ballgown<\/span><\/a> from Essense of Australia is a bold twist on a timeless look, featuring a beaded lace bodice secured with illusion straps. The full tulle skirt swings gracefully into a beautiful court train. The back zips up with ease under sparkling crystal buttons. The Wedding<\/b><\/p>\n

Krissy\u2019s dress fit perfectly with the overall aesthetic of the Kramer\u2019s big day. \u201cOur colors were rose, champagne, white and forest green. I wanted a garden\/forest theme, and I let the <\/span>nature<\/span><\/a> in my venue and pictures provide the forest green,\u201d she said. \u201cMy husband and I both grew up enjoying nature and hiking in Pennsylvania, so it was really important to use to incorporate an outdoor feel into our day.<\/span><\/p>\n
